Our first time at Olchi and our family enjoyed it! The place is smaller, clean and comfortable. The service is great - welcoming, friendly and fast! The food was absolutely delicious! Everything we ordered we loved - the special Galbi (BBQ ribs), combination Soondubu, Donkatsu, Sweet & Spicy Chicken Bites, Kimbap, and some beers. Needless to say, we left stuffed and had a nice take away container for another meal! Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Visited Olchi in El Sobrante for lunch and had a very solid experience. The space is noticeably clean and well-kept, which stood out right away. It is a simple, comfortable setting that works well for a casual meal. The spicy pork is the highlight. It is well-marinated with a balanced heat and strong flavor, and the texture is tender with a slight char. The soups are also excellent, served hot with a rich, savory broth that feels carefully prepared. Kimbap and appetizers are fresh and well-executed, rounding out the meal without feeling secondary. Overall, consistent quality across the board. Highly recommend the spicy pork and soups. The food tastes like a homemade meal my mom used to cook in Korea. It’s not Americanized Korean food, but truly authentic Korean cuisine. The restaurant is clean with a modern atmosphere, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Everything is absolutely delicious, and the whole experience is wonderful. I highly recommend this place.
