My son and I decided to go get breakfast this morning. We originally stopped at Dennys but unfortunately they were short staffed and were going to have long wait times for food. So we decided we would go check out Old Street Diner after looking at their menu online. They were pretty busy when we got there but we were seated quickly. We started off with some fried pickles which were really good. My son ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast and quite enjoyed it. I tried a bite of his and was super impressed. I ordered the chicken & waffles and enjoyed it as well. The staff was great. Food was reasonably priced and we got a lot for the price. I was very pleased with it all and plan to go again in the future. If you are near Chouteau and haven't been yet, give it a try! Thanks for responding to my Google review after 2 months of posting it about poor service. You said its been hectic thats the reason its toke you so long to respond. I see one thing it starts and ends with management the servers get by with what you allow. I honestly don't think you care because if you did it wouldn't take you over 2 months to respond to a Google review.
