Hmmmm. Kind of middle of the road. I ordered a turkey sandwich on a brioche bun. I don't have huge expectations. It's the bar and grill. But I was kind of hoping for a little bit of fancy. Parsley even. What arrived was this very utilitarian sandwich. A workmanlike sandwich. With four circular turkey breast slices -- like, the kind you buy pre-packaged in the cold section of Safeway. On top was a slice of nondescript cheese from that same grocery store. And it was served on top of a nondescript bun that you might, again, at your local Safeway. Honey mustard from the mayo aisle. It was a sandwich my kid might have been happy to see in their school lunch. It was fine. I just kind of expected...more. Visited On The Rox Sports Bar & Grill after a hard workout to break my fast and enjoy some food. Since I had not eaten anything all day I decided on some half price potato skins. They were the healthiest thing in the appetizer section. Well I noticed the potato was partially still frozen and had a watery feel when I bit into them. They were also cold. Fish and chips was my meal after the skins. I asked for some cocktail sauce in addition to the tarter sauce. The bartender was nice and said she would.be happy to make some up. When the plate came there was a cup of something green that must have been what she thought was some fresh cocktail sauce. Definately nothing close to cocktail sauce. The fish had very heavy breading and was also served cold. Fries were hard and cold too. No happy hour for bottled beer at 4pm? This place needs to put alot more effort into its food prep. Reminded me of a bad episode of bar rescue where they are screaming at the employees about how they suck. Awful experience and very disappointed. Will not be back.
