Might be because I got there before they close, the edamame was not fresh, so does the salmon. After stayed in Hawaii for a month, I have always tried to look for another poke place in Seattle, the poke here is the most salty one I have ever tried. Disappointed. I like the clean and neat restaurant they have and the varies options. But I will not visit again because of poor food quality. As a poke lover from Hawaii, I can confirm: Ono Authentic Hawaiian Poke is actually legit! I'm talking real poke, that is pre-marinated in carefully selected mixes of sauce and other ingredients, not the Americanized poke-bowls that are sauced as you order. It's just poke, on rice, with one side (usually mac salad, seaweed salad, etc). The owners are from Hawaii too! The fish is super fresh -- All Premium Sushi Grade 1. They change up the menu every week and you can check it on their Facebook page. They only do orders in-store. The portions are generous. The mac salad is normal mac salad. (They're not trying to make it more exciting by throwing peas, broccoli, potatoes, carrots and all the other things people mix into mac salad here on the mainland.) Yeah, it's pricy, but literally all poke and "poke" in Seattle is pricy. At least you're getting the real good stuff here. They've got very limited seating and the line can get long depending on the time of day. We went for lunch on a Sunday and there was no line, and then suddenly BAM a line 20-people long, then a short line again. If you get there early, you have a better chance of short waits and getting the fish you want before it runs out. I wanna go back...
