Stunning atmosphere and great food, but definitely carries a premium resort pricetag. I recently dined at ORA by Ettore Botrini, located right on the shore inside the gorgeous One&Only Aesthesis resort in Glyfada. The Vibe & Design: The setting here is absolutely spectacular. It features a very contemporary, modern layout that is incredibly sleek and upscale. The landscaping around the property is beautiful and well-maintained, creating a highly romantic and premium atmosphere. If you are looking for an amazing, photo-worthy setting right by the water, this place delivers 100%. The Food: The quality of the food is genuinely very good. For my meal, I had a multi-course progression: Beet Salad: Fresh, vibrant, and beautifully plated. Fish Course: Perfectly cooked, high-quality seafood. Dessert & Coffee: A flawless, refined finish to the meal. The Catch (Value for Money): My main issue with the experience comes down to the pricing. I paid around $120 for this course, and despite the high quality of the food, I felt it was overpriced for what was actually served. To put it into perspective, I’ve had a full 5-course tasting menu at a Michelin-starred restaurant in Madrid for significantly less (under €95), which offered much more culinary complexity. Bottom Line: If money is not an issue for you and you want a premium, hyper-modern, romantic dining experience on the Athenian Riviera, you should definitely visit. It’s a beautiful spot. However, if you are keeping a budget in mind, I’d suggest looking elsewhere, as you are definitely paying a heavy premium for the resort setting.
