The fries were delicious but the steak - which let's be honest, is what we're paying for - was overcooked and chewy. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3

DELICIOUS Ordered late around 11:45pm on a thursday, and got my food less than 25 minutes later. Food arrived piping hot, the beef was perfectly cooked and fries spectacular, it was all absolutely delicious! One of my favourite spots in the area! Thanks guys!!

This place came recommend by a friend so I was excited to try it. The Deliveroo was an over AN HOUR late due to lateness by the restaurant, which almost caused me to miss dinner. I told myself that this restaurant must just be so good that they had a line out the door that they couldn't keep up with. The reality was much more disappointing. Although the sweet potatoes were quite decent, the beef itself was not well-seasoned at all and seemed to be fairly low grade meat. They couldn't be bothered to wrap the delivery in aluminum foil despite sending it out in the middle of a blisteringly windy London evening. Naturally, the food arrived cold. The menu doesn't even have a basic side salad or side of cooked vegetables on offer. Update: I appreciate this reply to my review. I did not realize that Deliveroo was treating them so badly. I will try ordering from here at least one more time -- I promise to update this review if my next experience is better.
