Congratulations to this place! I’ve eaten some rubbish food in my time, but the Oriental Chef has taken the title! Horrible, cold, no flavour and some weird kind of greasy after-taste. Looks like the emergency Gaviscon is coming out. Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Have been here before and loved it but tonight was very disappointed. Spent over £37 and would say it was a total waste of money. Starters Prawn toast - lacked prawn, couldn't taste any prawns on it, just tasted like fried bread with sesame seeds on it Mini spring rolls - these were lovely, the best part of the meal Mains - pork curry and egg fried rice tasted of nothing but an overwhelming spice. Could not taste any flavour in the curry sauce it was more like eating meat covered in a creamy covering but was then an after taste of burning spice Prawn chow mein - again tasted of nothing but greasy noodles, the prawns didn't even have a flavour of prawns Crispy chicken in chilli and garlic with a portion of egg noodles - again the noodles had no flavour but the crispy chicken did taste ok so eaten with the noodles helped to flavour them Chips - these just tasted like bog standard chips you would get on your plate at a pub, they did not taste of chinese chips I dont have takeaway too often due to the cost of it but when I do have takeaway again I would not be buying from here. Pick up at shop food all ready I arrive 5 mins before pick up time and handed food for found it was cold live 3 min by from shop also no prawn crackers this was my first and last time going there. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Hi R, that doesn’t sound right. We aim to get food ready within 5minutes to pickup time and it’s kept in a warmer until the customer arrives. It would still be piping hot when it leaves the shop. Prawn crackers are only given on occasion or with larger orders.
