Fantastic food - amazing tastes & so varied. It’s typical Milanese (or so i’m told) ie delicious Italian food. Wonderful service (thank you so much Maya) & a great atmosphere. We also enjoyed the Italian wine - delicious also by the glass. Fabulous & hugely recommended - especially if you can come in a group & share from such an excellent menu Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The beef shin risotto was one of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time. This place is perfect for a date night, the menu offers a great variety of dishes all of which seem to be very well executed. We were looked after my Matt & Tash, both of whom were very attentive and looked after us excellently. Our bill came to £220 for three people with starters, mains and two bottles of wine, which is not overly cheap but the ingredients are clearly high quality and it’s a place you will be dying to visit again. Word of warning, the restaurant itself is very warm on a hot day. There was an attempt to counter this with an AC machine but it was still very warm, just a point to note. I’d recommend booking in advance as it does get busy, walking in and getting a table would be a long shot. All round a truly brilliant restaurant that I will definitely be revisiting very soon. Neighbourhood Italian seems to be the flavour of the month in London, with lots of new openings such as Tiella, Osteria Vibrato, and now Ornella - having been to all of these in recent weeks, Ornella was by far our favourite of the three. You’re sat in a really lovely, airy dining room (vs more cramped in at Tiella or Osteria Vibrato), the drinks are delicious, and most importantly the menu was most unique of the three, with a lot of vegetarian options (all the pastas were vegetarian save one). Best part was Ornella was also the cheapest of the three restaurants - definitely my choice when it comes to Saturday date night Italian! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £80–90 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
