First time visiting this lovely little cafe , such friendly and chatty staff and the full English breakfast , lovely stuff , will defo try give this place a visit again next time I visit York , dog friendly too Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Have been several times and usually enjoy the food. I asked for a big vegan breakfast without the sausage (I just didn't fancy it) but asked if I could swap the sausage for mushrooms, I said I was happy to pay full price because I was being picky. I was told this wasn't a problem. When food came the avocado was brown and tasted vile! and I only had 1extra mushroom. Didn't want to complain as there was only one young girl serving the entire place and didn't want her day to be any worse. We had to wait ages to get a second drink and later I was choking and asked for a drink of water which never arrived! The bill came and I had been charged £1 for my extra mushroom and had to point out that, that was really very cheeky and the girl removed it. So I ended up paying £12 for 1 slice of toast 2 mushrooms half a small tomato 1 tiny hash brown a handfull of beans and some rotting avocado. Disappointed to say the least and it was so cold inside the cafe, it took me all day to warm back up again. Just a side note, my friend and I have joint issues and a hand rial to help you in the front door would be awesome, thanks Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £10–20 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

The mushrooms are portobello and the half a tomato is what is served with all big breakfasts. The mushrooms are portobello and the half a tomato is what is served with all big breakfasts. Please always say if your not happy with something, as we will always try to rectify anything your not happy with, at the time. Sadly when it is cold outside and the door is been constantly opened and closed the heating has little effect on a old listed building that cannot have double glazing or alterations. We have tried twice to get permission for a handrails but with no success. So if you need help, we will always lend a hand. KR Osborne'sMore

As usual a very warm welcome from all the staff, great food and outstanding service, without doubt one of the best dining experiences in York, thank you to all at Osbornes at 68 Gillygate
