Had the most interesting flavour today, the smoked salmon and cheese gelato was really a creative mix - smokey notes, savoury soft creamy texture that is absolutely divine. Special mention to the matcha and lychee which was extremely refreshing.

I happened to walk past this area and saw a Gelato shop. The aesthetics of the shop was awesome. It was an extremely hot day in Taipei, some Gelato sounded like an excellent idea. They offer samples too. I find that their Gelato are not too creamy. It is lightweight, while a little on the sweeter side. Overall, the service was great too!

After enjoying the Michelin gelato in Taichung - Minimal, we decided to hunt down the best gelato in Taipei. We stumbled upon OttiMo Gelato and instantly fell in love with the shop aesthetics and truly delicious gelato. They make good use of local ingredients to create fun and fresh local gelato flavours such as walnut and dates, red wine and fig, Mascarpone logan honey. The gelato itself is creamy and the flavours are well balanced, not too sweet but flavoursome at the same time. Highly recommend. We're looking forward to returning to try all the different flavours!
