Older hotel, which is unfortunately very shabby. Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Tipping on the balcony. Glass partition on the balcony, probably not cleaned for a long time (verdigris on the glass). Stone slabs full of moss. Probably from last year. Seating furniture in the room torn and holes in it. Bathroom mirror broken and board ripped out under the sink. You use toilet paper very sparingly. Half roll on arrival, half roll in reserve. Bed was made daily. Not more. At the balcony window below, everything is black on the inside, the wood is rotten. If you walk through the hotel with your eyes open, you can see a lot of things are wrong. Spent a night in this hotel on Sunday April 20, 2024. The location is 500 meters from the dune crossing. The hotel has approximately 65 rooms and the common areas are very spacious. I had a room on the top, 2nd floor with a beautiful view of the dunes, very beautiful. First of all, the staff was very friendly and helpful! There is a spacious covered, locked bicycle shed with sockets to charge electric bicycles. Car can be parked for free in front of the door. There is a lovely large swimming pool. Despite all these advantages, it is only a 3 star hotel. Points for improvement: the whole thing is slightly dated. But what I have seen is all clean. Only my balcony had quite a green deposit. Coffee and tea options in the room? But maybe that's part of a 4 star hotel. Rooms: 3 Service: 5 Location: 5
