Eng- Passing by Welland when I saw this restaurant out of the corner of my eye. Had to U-turn to try it out and it was the best decision of the d̶a̶y̶ weekend. Atmosphere-wise, it reminds me of restaurants in Colombia — I especially like that the kitchen is visible and not hidden in the back so you can see the work they put into the food if you like. The owner was very friendly and helpful on what we might like based on our appetite & preferences. Fooood. We got two arepas and a Cachapa. At first, i thought the arepas were a bit expensive but when we got them and i saw how big and packed they were, i understood why they were priced as such—and even then i would probably be willing to pay more based on taste. One is enough per person in my opinion. The Cachapa I got with pulled beef BUT if you are going to try the cachapa, i recommend you get it with only cheese(as the owner recommended but i was really craving the beef). With only cheese you can really taste the outstanding flavour. We will definitely be coming whenever we pass by Welland in the future, no questions asked. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
