Today, my wife and I visited P.F. Chang’s at Riyadh Park Mall to celebrate a special occasion. As a newly married couple, we were looking forward to having a pleasant dining experience at a restaurant brand that I have been a loyal customer of for over 15 years. Upon arrival, I politely asked the reception manager if we could be seated in a slightly more private area. Although there were no private tables available, his response was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. He began making sarcastic comments, joking about putting up a divider and mocking the idea of privacy, saying that “this was something people wanted back in 2018 and now times have changed.” His attitude was disrespectful and unnecessarily rude. I then informed him that I have a severe shrimp allergy and kindly asked the restaurant to take extra care with food preparation and cooking utensils to avoid cross-contamination. In my experience with P.F. Chang’s branches around the world, staff have always treated such requests seriously and professionally. Instead of addressing my concern appropriately, the manager refused and started talking about current circumstances, supply shortages, and unrelated political matters. He then stated that the restaurant’s policy does not accommodate customers with allergies and told us that he could not serve us. I was shocked by both his behavior and the way this situation was handled. The entire interaction was unprofessional, hostile, and lacking even the most basic level of courtesy and customer service. This is the first time in 15 years of visiting P.F. Chang’s restaurants around the world that I have experienced such poor treatment. The P.F. Chang’s brand deserves much better representation than this. Unfortunately, this manager’s conduct completely ruined what was supposed to be a special occasion for my wife and me. Had such a great dining experience at P.F. Chang's here in Riyadh Park. The food, ambiance, and service never disappoint, which is why this restaurant has truly become my comfort zone whenever I’m here in Riyadh. A special appreciation to the staff, especially Mr. Humayan, for his excellent service. He is very approachable, respectful, and has such a good attitude and personality that makes every dine-in experience even more welcoming and comfortable. The food is absolutely worth recommending to everyone. If you are craving dumplings, their Chicken Dumplings are superb, and the Shrimp Dumplings are definitely a must-try as well. For rice lovers like me, their Combo P.F. Chang’s Fried Rice is highly recommended and truly deserves to be one of their best sellers. The flavor and serving are satisfying every time. Their Mongolian Beef is also outstanding — very tender and rich in flavor, giving that authentic Chinese cuisine taste. Honestly, their other menu selections are worth trying too because everything is flavorful and well prepared. Highly recommended if you are looking for delicious Chinese, Japanese, and Thai-inspired cuisine here in Riyadh Park. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SAR 180–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Tried this restaurant for the first time after it was recommended by a friend. Upon ordering, I specifically mentioned that all the dishes should be non-spicy, but unfortunately the rice still came spicy. Good thing the waiter immediately replaced it, and the new rice was actually really good. The shrimp was also one of the better dishes we had. However, the chicken we ordered was too dry and disappointing. The rest of the food was just average for us. Service-wise, the waiter who assisted us was helpful, but the manager on duty came across as a bit snobbish and it was hard to get assistance whenever we needed something, especially while dining with a child. Maybe because the place was huge and very busy at the time. Overall, not a terrible experience, but not somewhere that fully lived up to the recommendation either. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
