On the last visit, I met met up with a couple of friends after work before they went to a Wings game. I wanted to grab a few slices and hang out for the little bit of time that they had, but after being acknowledged initially by the employee at the bar and asked to wait "just a minute". After 7-8 minutes of watching them take and serve multiple drink orders, clear space, talk with someone in back, all while passing by multiple times, I was finally greeted by another employee who passed once and saw me, then as they went to leave the bar area noticed me again and asked if I needed something. Their demeanour was off, like they thought that it was weird that I would be standing waiting to purchase pizza. I asked for two slices, paid and after sitting down, was informed by the folks that I met that I wasn't given the happy hour price even though it was still within happy hour. The same employee assisted my friends and gave happy hour pricing without needing to be asked about it. Now not having a ton of time, I decided that it wasn't worth asking about since I didn't know how long it would take and they had to leave to catch the aforementioned Wings game.
The issues being served and general feeling of welcomeness has persisted through 3-4 of my 5-6 visits.
The pizza is above average most days and the arcade cabinet selection has a decent variety, so it's not all bad. I just wouldn't feel confident telling someone "Yeah, go to Popoff, you'll have a great experience!"
