Stopped in for a late brunch on a Sunday, and enjoyed the nicely designed building. Food was fine, but nothing to shout about. There is plenty of seating to do some reading/working. They also have a membership option so if you’re a remote worker this place might be your jam. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Chill atmosphere and beautiful building. Black Garlic Cesar salad was tasty and coffee menu was confusing, barista offered little support so I just picked randomly. Turned out okay and tasted nice. Stopped by because of my Offline Austin membership. When mentioning I had a promo to use a comment was murmured about breaking the bank. The promo took my total down to around $1.50 (While I still tipped on the undiscounted amount.) Whether directed at me or the app idk but just an odd thing to say customer facing. I’ve had management run promos I wasn’t a fan of either but that was a weird interaction. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to after having brunch here. This Sunday, my boyfriend and I originally came to try the coffee at Pershing East which is how we stumbled upon this truly hidden cafe tucked in the back with the cutest hand-lettered windows and bold fish wallpaper. We decided to try their brunch on a whim and ordered the Deviled Eggs, Croque Madame, and the Bread & Butter Pudding (which although is featured in their brunch menu is also on their normal lunch menu, I believe). As we ate, I could hear angels singing. You guys - it's been hours later and I'm still beaming when thinking about this meal. I had to look up if I had stumbled on a James Beard winner or something to explain what my mouth was experiencing. I just was not expecting the food to go this hard in a cafe tucked behind a coffee bar. How have I not heard of this place before today? Everything was incredibly flavorful, refined, and well-balanced. We loved their take on deviled eggs - the herb oil was so unique with the semi-cured ham and what tasted like pickled shallots that cut through the richness. The Bread & Butter features bread from Sour Duck's bakery (another one of our favorite joints) paired with a cherry infused toffee sauce and whipped cream flavored with fresh orange zest - you guys, I could bathe in that stuff, it was amazing. Although picking a favorite is extremely difficult - the Croque Madame comes out on top by just a wee bit. Perfect to share with a loved one - it's like the embodiment of a warm hug. Although appearing extremely decadent, it's surprisingly airy and features some generously-sized sliced brioche bread and the filling contains deliciously cooked ham, a runny egg, and a tomato-based sauce and finally topped with the smoothest Mornay sauce you've ever had. It could easy go overboard but this is where the chef's refinement comes in and knowing how to balance richness. You leave feeling a bit of the chef's love for the craft of cooking and wealth of knowledge. You also leave shocked at the accessibility of this place to the everyday Austinite and just how nonchalant this place is for having served-up one of the best meals I've had in Austin. PRANZO - you earned a place in my heart. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
