I had an absolutely fantastic night at Prime Steakhouse in Phuket — one of those dinners you keep talking about long after the trip ends. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere set the tone. The lighting was warm and elegant without feeling stuffy, and the space had that perfect balance of upscale and welcoming. It felt special, but still relaxed enough that you could settle in and really enjoy yourself. The service was truly top-tier. The staff were attentive without hovering, knowledgeable about every detail on the menu, and genuinely enthusiastic about the food. Glasses were never empty, courses arrived at just the right pace, and every interaction felt personal rather than rehearsed. And then there was the food — Chef Mark is clearly someone who takes serious pride in his craft. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection: beautifully seared on the outside, incredibly tender and juicy inside, and seasoned in a way that enhanced the natural flavor of the meat instead of overpowering it. Every bite was one of those “close your eyes for a second” moments. The sides and sauces weren’t afterthoughts either — each one thoughtfully prepared and paired, elevating the whole experience even further. What really stood out was the attention to detail. Presentation was elegant, flavors were balanced, and you could tell that nothing left the kitchen unless it met a very high standard. It felt like dining somewhere that genuinely cares about giving guests a memorable evening, not just a meal. Between the outstanding food, polished service, and refined yet comfortable ambience, Prime delivered a dining experience that felt truly world-class. Prime in Phuket was an exceptional experience — stunning views, impeccable service, and remarkable attention to detail. Chef Mark is truly a master of his craft; every dish reflected precision, creativity, and deep respect for flavour. The octopus was perfectly cooked, the beef tartar fresh and beautifully balanced, and the steak outstanding. I even had to step away for an emergency call, and Chef Mark generously prepared a brand-new steak from scratch — a true mark of professionalism and genuine hospitality. A special thank you to waitress Noi (Butter) for her attentiveness, generosity, and warm, professional service throughout the evening. A must-try while in Phuket. This place was sensational, being often guests at rock salt we decided to oPt for Prime to our surprise the entire experience was just wow, the chef here was exceptional, very attentive and even recommended a beautiful red for us to enjoy the food was some of the best Ive ever had and we eat out a lot at Michelin restaurants Kudos to chef and all the team at Prime amazing and highly recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
