Well what can I say. Came here for my engagement dinner and had my fiancee, and my parents come from England to have a meal here in Prague. Came here because I had a lunch here and it was good once before but honestly this was some of the worst food we’ve ever had. The food was stone cold, bland and I felt so embarrassed for my engagement night with my parents to all have a bad meal it was just horrendous that we just ate what we could and got up to leave as soon as to save the embarrassment further. Nobody enjoyed their meal and my parents just wanted to pay and say no more to not cause a scene but it was just simply awful, I will not be coming back to this place and completely ruined our celebratory engagement meal that we explicitly said that occasion upon booking instruction. I cannot believe a place that charges the prices serves the food that it does especially on an occasion like ours, not even the rice was cooked properly. Simply embarrassed. Response to owner : were seated outside, but food shouldn't be served stone cold regardless of seating. Our issue was not just what was served, but the temperature, lack of flavor, undercooked rice, and lack of celebration care despite explicit booking notes. We left quickly to avoid further embarrassment on our special night. Yes the food looked nice but that doesn’t take away from the fact that it was stone cold, undercooked, zero flavour and the response from the owner is utterly appalling. We clearly said what was wrong and had the audacity to be so rude. I clearly stated what was wrong and the response seems purely arrogant of food that is extremely poor taste and quality. considering it was our engagement night??? Will NEVER be coming back here and will be passing on the message. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Hi Alfred,We are sorry for you experience. However you have no explanation of what happened. If I see right you ordered a crab, trout fish, octopus and duck and sat on terrace. The food looks very decent so it´s not clear whats your isuue. Can you let us know again.Stepan the manager

Visited PRU58 for their 6-course street food tasting menu. Full disclosure: we're not huge seafood lovers and came with a voucher, but the experience was still solid. The restaurant focuses on Asian cuisine, particularly seafood, with a beautiful modern Asian interior – lots of flowers, pickled vegetables displayed in jars, and impressively clean, stylish bathrooms. Food-wise, it was a mixed bag. The highlights were definitely the curry with shrimp and rice, and the pork belly – perfectly seasoned with an amazing sauce. However, the fried crab was quite underwhelming and lacked flavor (though maybe that's how it's supposed to be?). The pork in pepper leaf also fell flat, saved only by the accompanying sauce. Service was excellent throughout. Pricing felt fair for a tasting menu experience. If you love seafood, this is probably right up your alley. For us non-seafood enthusiasts, some dishes shined while others didn't quite hit the mark. Unfortunately the do not do mango sticky rice :(.
