Pyro is more than just a charming atmosphere, it’s an experience from start to finish. We were blown away by the timing of each dish, the incredible food, and Marianna’s thoughtful recommendations and attentive service. Pyro is lucky to have her! Don’t skip the ube panna cotta. It was absolutely delicious. Pyro was the perfect place to celebrate, and I already can’t wait to go back. Bonus: they also have a stellar gluten-free menu! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Dietary restrictions: A separate gluten free menu!

A huge disappointment for our birthday celebration. We were looking forward to sophisticated, cutting edge fusion. But all the effort here has gone into marketing and scripted presentations; the food is just an afterthought. The salad was the only thing we liked. The tuna tataki and yellowtail sashimi were overwhelmed by too much sauce. The allegedly spicy tuna was super bland. All the grilled meats (filet, NY strip, lamb) were way oversalted. The fried rice was wet. And the roasted mushrooms were lacking promised bacon or any flavor at all. They offered us free dessert, but we passed – who needs another disappointment? Service was mostly efficient but scripted and insincere. At nearly $600 for four (with no alcohol) the pricing was totally out of whack. You literally could not pay any one of us to return. We got engaged on 2/22, and my fiancé surprised me with 7:30 reservations at Pyro to celebrate right after our engagement. It was the perfect place for such a special night. We were running a little late because we were busy calling family with the big news, but the hostess was so kind and held our table for us. We were seated right in front of the kitchen, which we loved. It was so fun watching the food being prepared. Our server was amazing and walked us through the $100 per person menu, making sure we loved everything, including our cocktails. The food was incredible. The gyoza were absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The lamb chops were tender, juicy, and easily one of the best dishes we have had in a long time. 10/10 would come back again for the food and service!!
