Imagínate que por fin has llegado a Paik’s Noodle at Dublin - Hong Kong Banjum tras visitar Dublin Heritage Park & Museums. De lo que este restaurante se enorgullece es de sus cocinas china y coreana. Paik’s Noodle at Dublin - Hong Kong Banjum te agradará con sus sabrosas gambas fritas, sus atrayentes sopas de fideos y sus bien trabajados cerdo agridulce. Aquí puedes beber un sensacional té.

I had no idea this place has been a resident of Dublin for the last 2 years. Small hole in the wall located at Lamps Plus Plaza. Unlike the location in Santa Clara, there was no waiting line. We ordered half an order of Gunmandu and Jajangmyeon. The fried dumplings did indeed have a crispy skin. 4 pieces were just enough - wanted to have room for our noodle dish. When our Jajangmyeon came out, I was a bit surprised to see it topped off with 5 pieces of green peas. The dish was tasty and the noodles hit the spot; thick and chewy. Black bean sauce wasn't overly sweet or salty. I took one star off because I wasn't sure if this menu was the same as Paik's Noodle in Santa Clara. I recall Paik's Noodle offers 2 bowl sizes (regular and large). Additionally, Jajangmyeon is served with sliced cucumbers which I find refreshing rather than the peas. Lastly, their Danmuji, the yellow pickled radish, was slightly dry - as if it had been sitting out for quite some time. Overall, good comfort food. We'll be back.

I've had this place multiple times for takeout and dine in. They package the takeout very well as I've taken the jjajangmyeon home and it was still very fresh. The flavor of the noodles is good here. I like the jjajangmyeon noodles here better than the ones at Myeongdong Ja Jang. The sweet and sour pork is great, so is the spicy crispy fried chicken. Great to pair with the noodles for a nice family meal to share between two people. The spicy seafood soup was only okay, not really my type of spice. This place is one of my go-tos when I want something comforting and homey. Service is good, the ladies are very nice. They offered us aprons so that we wouldn't get anything on our white clothes, a thoughtful and nice touch.

We had an assortment of dishes and shared all as one would family style. The sauces and ingredients were quality almost as good as we had overseas. What highlighted the key ingredient was the noodles. Better than most casual locales we’ve experienced. I couldn’t recollect the Korean dish names, but check the pics. After lunch, we came to the consensus that the dishes we had were better than expected. Our foodie has been to Santa Clara location as well and precedes that this location has better quality pork dishes. Hope someone will agree or have similar experiences.
