This South Dallas location is situated in a nice green area. The restaurant was tidy with clean counters and no trash, though the windows could use a quick wipe-down to remove some fingerprints. The line moved fast, and the staff was very polite. We ordered a Bigger Plate so we could try the Dynamite Chicken. Because there wasn't quite enough left in the pan for a full portion, I agreed to wait seven minutes for a fresh batch. About ten minutes later, a highly professional team member named Jay came over to apologize and let me know they were actually completely sold out of the Dynamite Chicken for the year, as the promotion had just ended. Jay handled the mix-up perfectly and offered a refund or a substitution. To keep things easy, I just swapped it for Orange and Teriyaki Chicken for my husband. As someone who eats pescatarian, I do wish Panda Express offered a wider variety of meat-free entrees, but I made sure to get two orders of my absolute favorite: the Honey Walnut Shrimp. To make up for the wait, I asked if they might include a couple of complimentary crab rangoons, and Jay happily obliged. It was a great customer service touch that I really appreciated. Now for the food itself: it was delicious! The portions were generous, and everything was yummy. My husband loved his chicken, and my shrimp was perfect as always. Supergreens and chow main are both a great side combo. We also tried the veggie rolls, which were great! I’m surprised to see the low ratings for this location because the service I received from Jay was fantastic and the food really hit the spot.
