Ordered online for pickup cause I rec’d gift card at Christmas. Decided to eat before shopping at Winco. They’re open late, which is nice. Order followed timeline given. Got a table and unpacked to-go order. Missing utensils etc. Very busy, all working steady tho. Seem to come in waves, must’ve had a full house three times, then it’d clear back out. Keep in mind they’re doing in house, online orders, as well as drive thru and even over the phone. Here’s my two-cents: dining area was extremely cold! Dining, kitchen, and bathrooms (need a door code) were all very clean. For those working it’s great, and I get that. I don’t go out to eat or buy fast food. I’m sure this adds to the shock I feel for $$. Two lg plates, fountain soda, one appetizer (3 crab puff) exceeded $25 gift card. Total was over $35. Ate here years ago and it was a set price for the options of plate sizes. In tiny print it now says “starting at $X and up”. So depending on the items you pick, and they’re all differently priced. That’s a big NO for me. Kinda defeats the buffet style and fast food type setting. Oof. Also, the portions aren’t simply reduced, they’ve shrank to literally a fraction of the former. Add injury to insult, all the meat items for example have also been reduced in the size of each piece. A shrimp appears as if it now makes two or even three out of one whole one, sliced into a few. Lol. Lastly the flavor… just not there. I wanted to enjoy it enough to return because there are no places other than fast food past 8:30pm-9pm these days. The food is very much fast food Chinese. Here’s the thing if you really dig Chinese food… I can absolutely get fresh delicious eats, standard portions with a nice amount of leftover for later for around the same cost. The bummer, the family dining Chinese places aren’t open later the way they once were. Panda Express is an alternate option to the usuals when you want a quick bite or if it’s late. If you’re mindful of choices it can fit your budget. While the food leaves much to be desired (even to be as good as the former product) it is still edible for the convenience. As busy as it gets, it left me wondering if so many of the people have ever experienced great Chinese food tho?!?! Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2 Price per person: $10–20
