Gator is unexpectedly delicious the way they prepare it, but the location is relatively bad in my opinion - away from about everything. Rated 4 stars because waiting for your order outside in the heat honestly wasn't pleasant, and at least at that time there was no place to sit inside. They further asked me to wait outside even. Service: Takeaway Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–50

My apologies about the outside wait. I think we just got into the habit with Covid protocol. Our humble little establishment doesn't offer much space. I'm not sorry we were busy because goodness knows we needed that. I think we figure most people have a car with air they can wait in. You are always welcome to wait at table 4 if it's open. I'm glad you enjoyed the gator.

Instead of reading a useless review from someone that has never had Yo Mama's food but only there to pick up via delivery service, I will give an honest review. We have been going for years and this is the best food!! Try the pulled chicken or the vouxdoux shrimp or gator or crawfish or oyster (the list goes on) on french bread or a wrap. It's all fresh and made to order. It's not sitting under heat lamps. The women are awesome. You know, it's only 3 of them running the show and they run it smoothly. I've never had a bad meal there and it's well worth the money. I think their prices are pretty reasonable for the amount of food you get. I don't think you will be disappointed.

I moved out of Indiana 2 1/2 years ago and was extremely saddened when Papa Roux closed. When I heard the location had reopened under a different name, I was excited but skeptical. But I was happy to find I could still get all my old favorites and they were just as delicious as the last time. Yo Mama Roux is exquisite and almost brought a tear to my eye out was so delicious! They even gave it a personal touch by writing "Welcome Back :)" on the bag! My only regret is that I didn't tip more! My all time favorite meal!
