Great vibe. Cheery service. Fantastic GF options. I did the Paleo Bowl no egg “to go”. And for sweet treats a GF snickerdoodle and fudge brownie. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Breakfast

Food was fine but not so good that I would pick it over a place that will actually serve you. Waited an hour for food. Got attitude from the waitress when we asked what the hold up was, and told how busy they are, (there were open tables so not that busy). Also people being seated long after us got their food promptly. Would give zero stars if I could. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Today my friends and I went to enjoy a breakfast out at paperback cafe. As we walked in we were amazed by the ambience of the cafe. We were nicely greeted by a worker we unfortunately don’t know the name of. As we sat down our waitress Anastasia, handed us our menus and took our drink orders, but failed to refill the drinks not even once. After she took our drink orders, she came back and gave us water. And then she asked us if we were ready to order while being in there for only three minutes we said we would like more time and she rolled her eyes and walked away. Once we ordered, I asked what the toast options were, and she slammed on the table and told me to read the menu. The nice waitress that we don’t know the name of brought us our food and make sure we were alright. She had the opportunity to check in on us multiple times, but fully disregarded us, walked by and completely avoided to even make eye contact with us. All of our plates were finished for at least 10 minutes and we had a signal her over after being avoided for the whole experience. Once we signaled her over, she said, do you want to check and we said yeah and before we even got to finish our sentence, she walked away. She came back with a full bill, but we were going to ask for it to be split four ways and once we told her that we wanted the bill to be split four ways, she rolled her eyes, made a noise and walked away aggressively. She didn’t even acknowledge our question she just walked off. Once we got our bills, she walked away, and we didn’t know where we were supposed to pay or what to do because there was a counter that you could pay on the front, but we didn’t know what to do because she never clarified any direction. When we all walked to go to the front to pay one of us use Apple Pay and you could visually tell she was annoyed by her face, by her attitude and the constant groaning she was making at us. When we would give her a full bill and ask for change, she would grown roll her eyes in visually get mad over the tip. I feel like we were Treated very poorly under the assumption that we are young two of us are 18 and the other two of us are 15. Just because of your age, you shouldn’t be treated differently under the stereotype that teenagers never tip.I saw our waitress walk over her other tables that had a very obvious had an adult sitting there. Talk to them nicely show good attitude, and check in on them multiple times, we didn’t even get checked in on once. Lastly, one of us ordered sourdough and we were unsure if we actually received the sourdough because it didn’t taste like it at all so when the bill came, my friends said I don’t think this is sourdough, and our waiter instead of apologizing, she right away, started an argument and started defending the fact that it was sourdough, but the concern could’ve been handled properly in the beginning if she came over initially to check in on our food while we were eating. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5
