Ordered the mango strawberry. Way way way too much "strawberry syrup" on the bun, tastes so artificial and cheap. I'd recommend making your own puree or putting it on the side because the quality of that syrup ruins the entire dish. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: $10–20

PappaRoti was developed in Malaysia by a mother who wanted to create a bun with roti dough. PappaRoti means “father of the bun” According to the PappaRoti website, the mother created a round roti bun with a coffee caramel coating on the outside and a rich salted butter filling on the inside. I believe this is their original signature bun, and it is delicious. I suggest you enjoy it in the shop with a friend or two, and have a cup of coffee or tea with it, as a snack or dessert. Next favorite bun is the same signature bun but it comes with a side of ashta (a rich silky clotted cream) and honey. The cream cheese and honey is good but the cream is a bit salty so it’s a unique flavor and may not be to everyone’s taste. Once you upgrade from the signature bun to a bun with toppings, the price jumps quite a bit which is a downside. PappaRoti has many locations around the world in about 70 countries including in Dubai. Highly recommend. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Other
