This was a motorhome 2 night stop on a tour of New Zealand from the UK. After booking a pitch with all facilities on what was supposed to be a nice quiet location months in advance what we discovered was the site was being also used as a truck stop!!!. So 10 meters from our pitch we now have 7 articulated lorries one with it’s engine running. Who knows what time it will all kick off in the morning. We will not be stopping for the second night. It’s a complete joke. Location: 3

Please know that we have always primarily catered to motels, and due to increased demand and limited options in the area, we have expanded our facilities to accommodate campers as well. However, we acknowledge that the coexistence of both campers and truckers on our premises may not always lead to an ideal environment for all guests.More

Helen & I thought enjoyed our meal at Parklands Motor Lodge last night. The crumbed Tarakihi was superb & the portion was very large. Helen had Seafood Chowder which she thoroughly enjoyed. Service was first class. A most enjoyable evening. Thank You.
