This place is a true gem in the local eatery’s of wichita. We come here every year for my husband’s birthday, and every time he is just delighted by how good the food is. It’s so delicious! And it’s always been that way! I always enjoy watching the Indian music videos too. We have noticed over the years however that the place could use some upkeep, the walls and seats need repair and the sign is faded away. The menu is small and plain now with no pictures, and the placemats on the tables are just a plain piece of paper. Maybe they’re doing this to save money, but I hope they’re still getting a lot of business because I’d hate to see this place go. We will continue to come here and enjoy the delicious Indian food and I hope everyone else will too! Passage To India makes the BEST biryani in town! I've enjoyed their beef, shrimp, lamb, and veggie biryani over the years. Veggie biryani is my favorite, but all the varieties are delicious. Also, their buffet (lunch only) is excellent, and the chai is addictive. Passage To India is my favorite restaurant in Wichita. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We have been eating at Passage since its inception. It remains after 30+ years our go-to when we want reliable Indian cuisine. Favorites are muta biryani, navrattan Korma, paneer coconut curry and garlic naan.
