Passion Roots is the kind of hidden gem, off Tamiami Trail, that you're excited to find when searching for something healthy and delicious, and a fabulous locally roasted coffee spot too. The moment I stepped inside, it felt like a tropical oasis with the coziness of a neighborhood café. I met Jamie (the owner), her wonderful staff, and a sweet mom and her little girl who were so full of joy. I felt so welcomed in this warm, stay‑awhile community vibe. The wicker lights, palm trees, vibrant plants, and light‑and‑breezy style make the café feel like a little island escape. There are so many healthy options to choose from, and I ordered the Island Matcha and smashed avocado toast with microgreens and a lemon wedge. The refreshing coconut water, dash of agave, and earthy green tea, created a perfectedly blended iced matcha, which paired perfectly with the hearty multi‑grain toast and fresh avocado. Next time, I’m excited to try a latte or espresso from their La Marzocco Italian coffee machine. I'm thrilled to find this local, family‑owned healthy café in the neighborhood. I appreciate authentic food made with heart, fresh ingredients, and a place that nourishes more than just hunger. Passion Roots is a beautiful reminder of what food made with passion tastes like. I visit this spot every time I am visiting Sarasota! The matchas, smoothie bowls, and toasts absolutely delicious, refreshing, and clean. Great little place with ceremonial grade matcha and you can get it with pistachio milk. They have healthy add one like grass fed collagen and bee pollen. Great acai bowls and the green goddess smoothie is good. Great little place. Wr have been back everyday while we're staying here! Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
