No-frills pasta shop serving affordable rotating pastas and antipasto. Anything casarecce is a good shout and you’re in luck if risotto and meatballs are on the menu. The ladies behind the counter offer to do half and half if you seem indecisive and they always brighten my day :) x Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

In recent years we’ve been coming here with our kids for lunch mainly over the school holidays and it’s our number one destination on day one. Our kids love the pasta and classic atmosphere that we have enjoyed for so many years when we lived in Fitzroy pre family days. Now the trip to pasta classica is a family occasion creating memories and traditions. The food and service is top quality and the values of the family owned business are shown with pride. It’s a true treasure to the local community and all who come here for the first time and return for many more. Long live Pasta Classica. Superb dine in experience with friendly staff and hungry diners. Huge bowls of rich, complex, house made pasta are served with crusty Italian bread and freshly grated Parmesan. Available in combo or separately are hearty salads. Now everyone can have an Italian grandmother. The take home pasta in all shapes, sizes and flavours is also delicious and freezes excellently. Flavours range from the traditional to the nutty Ricotta & Walnut to the cutting edge Kangaroo & Cocoa. Yum ! Packaged deli items and great coffee available too. No food comas allowed here.
