We’ve been to Il Patatino several times and it has never disappointed us. As Italians living locally, we can honestly say the food is outstanding: from the starters to the desserts, everything tastes authentic, original, and full of the flavours we love from home. The real highlight, though, is the service. The team is attentive and professional while still making you feel completely welcome, almost like you’re having dinner at a friend’s place. Our waitress Abby was wonderful — her kindness, attention, and genuine smile made the whole experience even more special (and somehow made the dinner taste even better!). The atmosphere is also beautiful, with lovely decor and so much attention to detail. Everything feels carefully curated, clean, and inviting. Il Patatino has become one of our favourite places in Edinburgh, and we always leave looking forward to coming back. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very nice and a quiet place. We went during lunch and wasn't buzzy at all. My friend loved the food, according to her it was the best pasta in town. I also enjoyed food. The only moment is it was a bit hard to find as the entrance is via the hotel. Overall, would recommend Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
