Went to Patyntje for dinner yesterday. What a fantastic experience it was. The welcome was pleasant and with a friendly greeting and smile. Our coats were accepted spontaneously and neatly disposed of. We were kindly escorted to our table with a pleasant view of the backyard. After we received the menu and ordered a Cava, we looked at the menu, which was not too extensive. Top. We had a Breton fish soup as a starter and, as HG, we had the grandmother's style VAV and the stew. Our Breton Fish Soup was a real pleasure to eat. Simply delicious. Nothing but praise for this dish. There was plenty of fish and the soup was delicious, not watery but a bit thicker in consistency. A real pleasure to eat this. My VAV and the stew were beautiful. Appearance, taste and quantity were really great. What a chef that is. The art of making this in such a fantastic way was great for us. In any case, we are huge fans of this person. Our appreciation for the kitchen staff, the cook and the wait staff. The place was packed and we enjoyed it immensely. This thing is back where it should be. Great and our thanks to the entire staff of the Patyntje. And certainly our thanks and appreciation for the chef and his staff.
