Had food for the first time, nearly walked out after hearing how the Chef was speaking to the staff, really no need especially when customers can hear. My son enjoyed his burger, I only had a side of halloumi as I was eating out later, there was no taste whatsoever, I asked my son to try it and he agreed, I know Halloumi isn’t a strong taste but this was so bland, I left nearly all of it, I told the waitress and she mentioned it to Chef and his reply was Halloumi has no taste, so unprofessional I will not eat here again. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

The tall, lanky rude brunette boy on the bar… sack him. He’s unbelievably rude and forgot the bar was mirrored when he turned around pulling faces at the fact that I didn’t order Alcohol. Huffed and said “you do know it’s cash only don’t you” with absolutely no signs anywhere saying it’s cash only. Luckily I had cash but you’re not paying for the customer service, clearly. He ordered another guy on the bar to make one of our drinks and was annoyed he didn’t know what we ordered, even though he wasn’t the one serving us. Just such a bizarre experience. I’m new to the Ripley area and he’s set the first impression extremely badly. Service: 1 Price per person: £10–20
