Scammed out of $180 on Valentines Day. - Firstly, we were sat outside, guests visibly freezing with no outdoor heating options or blankets offered to guests. If this was the plan guests should have been informed beforehand. We saw a number of people go to their car to retrieve large coats and blankets. For those that didn’t bring these items too bad. - our dinner service took 3 hours, while sitting in the freezing cold. We had to ask for mains and desserts multiple times. - all food was served freezing cold, I am not exaggerating when I say no meal was even lukewarm warm. - entrees: oysters were nice but the dips, tacos, bread and mushroom pasty were inedible. Taco tortilla and fish was dry and lacked flavour. Bread was a weird texture and grainy, dips had no flavour (we couldn’t tell what they were) and the mushroom pasty was raw dough in the middle. - the main: served like it came out of a fridge cold. The barramundi was super dry, chicken lacked flavour and in a pool of condensation liquid (unsure if this was supposed to be a broth?). I asked for our corn salad to have “no mayo” and it was served on a giant pool of mayonnaise? Veggies cold and undercooked with a watery dressing. - dessert: chocolate cake was bitter, cream tasted sour and off. Panacotta was topped with canned pineapple and not very nice. - one waitress came around to offer a complimentary glass of moscato to apologies for our wait however I asked if I could have a coffee instead (as I don’t drink when I have to drive home) I was told no - many guests were tripping over the candles on the floor. As we were walking we had to becareful not to step on broken glass I find this extremely unacceptable. We feel taken advantages of, being forced to pre pay for Valentine’s Day and being served this disgusting food. For a venue of this calibre this is unacceptable. I know weren’t the only ones as a running joke amongst the adjacent dinners was bonding over everything going wrong. Price per person: A$160–180 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Pebbles restaurant is amazing. I booked dinner for my fiancee’s birthday and could definitely say we were very spoiled. The service was amazing, we had 2 servers last night and they were just amazing, very helpful and lovely to chat with. Foods were very tasty, rich in flavor! Was just a bit sad that we did not finish some of it cos we had a cheeky snack before heading out for dinner (but there’s no one to blame but us) At the end of the night the restaurant manager came out with a birthday dessert plate. It was well presented and the brownies, honeycomb were all so tasty! Would definitely come back, and recommend to others :) Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$100–120 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
