Today was my first visit . I ordered the warmed cheese scone, with butter and homemade relish. It was amazing. My pot of tea for one was served in a proper vintage tea cup and saucer. Perfect touch. Great food, friendly staff (Penelope & Jamie) and lovely customers . What more could the birthday girl want ? I know a large slice of the amazing lemon raspberry and white chocolate cake on the counter. Cant wait to tuck into this later . I look forward to returning again soon. Run and Owned, by the same named Owner. My mrs had a Orange Juice, me a Pot of Tea and both had a fruit scone, cream and Jam, each. These Scones where served warm and freshly made. Lovley light Scones. Very reasonable priced. Meal type: Other Price per person: £1–10

Ordered a cake from Penelope’s for my grandmother's birthday. It came out fantastic. Everyone absolutely loved it! The ingredients were really fresh and the presentation was great!
