A very true to the Spanish tapas restaurant with great vibes, a nice and welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was amazing. The drinks on point. Would highly recommend you try their spicy margarita and finish up with crema catalana. They were pretty fast with the food order which can be challenging when the table can’t fit a lot of dishes at once. Although it feels touristy, a lot of locals like it too. Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Sticky Ribs, Manchego

Great new spot in Oud-West. Peps has taken over the former Happy Happy Joy Joy (West) location on the Bilderdijkstraat, across from the new Xenos. Easy to find and a nice addition to the area! We are so glad they are here. I appreciate that this place very "Dutch" with a Spanish flare. The signage, menus and guests are mostly Dutch, which adds to the authenticity of the place. But if you aren't Dutch, even better. Dive-in and enjoy! The tapas menu is extensive and well-curated, with dishes that are full of flavor and nicely presented. The ceviche, chimichurri steak, and gambas are standouts (make sure to get bread for the sauce). Service was great throughout — friendly, attentive, and relaxed — which really adds to the experience. All in all, a very welcome addition to Oud-West with good food, good vibes, and excellent service. Definitely worth visiting. Price per person: €10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
