Delicious food, a new and very welcoming variation of the burger with pork. Delicious meat and beautifully presented. Even the fries were great!! And, the staff was super nice to my dog. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went for lunch recently after a walk on Formby beach and only good things to say. A nice greeting from the team and sat in lovely spot in the sun. Our Labrador was made to feel very welcome and everyone was really friendly and welcoming. Most importantly the food was great. I had the pork belly & scallops and it was really tasty, and well presented. You can tell the chef cares about what is sent out. Definitely will return Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

What a shame…… after being closed for renovations for the last 4 weeks we thought we would head over for Sunday Dinner and we regretted it from the moment we walked in Being told to wait for 5 minutes at the desk whilst other staff stood around talking and looking at their phones was the start and it progressively got worse Taken to our table in a cramped spot with our children didn’t help, to be told a “kitchen Equipment Malfunction” meant there were no pizzas or burgers added to our frustration Several on draught lagers weren’t available, the waitress forgot her pen twice and then having ordered drinks that were available we waited for these to be brought over Having ordered Chicken roasts for 2 of our group we then were told that due to further kitchen issues there was a “30 minute delay to food orders, is that ok?” Time passed, still without drinks and after 10 minutes our waitress returned to then tell us that unfortunately there was no more Chicken roasts!!! Enough was enough and so we left without eating or drinking just as our drinks were being brought over…… No apologies, no concern and most importantly a real lack of putting the customer first throughout our horrendous 30 minutes at the new and improved Pheasant Inn What a shame……. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
