Wonderful local business. If you’re from this region and you had a grandma that cooked , you’ll know what to expect as far as portions and flavor. If you’re not from this region come find out what you’ve been missing out on. I’ve stopped here several times over the years and never had a bad meal or experience. The staff are warm and friendly. Great place that reminds you of what the chain restaurants have taken away, great local experiences and food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20

If you want good home cooking and are in the Philippi area, be sure to stop at the Philippi Inn! Delicious food, large portions and friendly service combine to make this a great experience. I had the country fried steak with two sides and a fresh, hot roll for $12 00. Portions were so large, I could only eat half.
