I rate this five stars because this was literally the hottest bowl of pho I've ever had in my life. The chef mixed in his own special blend of hot pepper sauce and Sriracha. As I inhaled the scent, my nostrils began to burn. The meat in the bowl was still pink but cooking in the broth which was brewed in bowels of a most delicious hell. I took one bite, the cool Thai basil provided no respite from this monstrous bowl of death. But I continued to eat, every bite as flavorful and savory as the last one. I may have almost died but the Pho Queue Special was one of the best bowls of pho I've ever had.
