Haven't been in a while due to dieting restrictions. Decided to carb it up and I was not disappointed.  The the sandwiches are outstanding. And also tried the garlic noodles for the first time....WOW!  Already loved the sandwiches here, but the the GARLIC NOODLES are some of the best I have ever had!  I am very ashamed...I was supposed to save some for my friend, but I ate them all. I couldn't stop. I was an out of control beast!  Lol. Employees are super friendly, very clean shop, and order came up very fast. Plenty of parking in the lot....and I am going to be living here for the next week or until I put on 10 pounds. Hahahahaha. Side note:  the sandwiches do have jalapeños with the seeds in...if you don't like really spicy take them out first. They buuuuuurrrrnnn. Tee hee
Small place in a plaza. We paid at the counter.  Then sit down and waited for 30 mins. If you go to a vietnamese restaurant, you will barely wait that long for your food. So we asked what happened to our order. They said they don't have our order! So we gave them our receipt. It's not that busy, there are only 3 tables with customer, including us. That's very bad. They don't even apology for their mistake. Waitted for 5 mins, food came, BUT they messup our food, I paid for special noodle, they gave me regular one. I told them I ordered special, the guy said "that's a special noodle." What in the world is this!!!!! Special noodle supposed to have SEAFOOD in it. That's what's in their menu. One I got only have beef and noodle. Since we waited for so long, I don't want to wait anymore and didn't argued with them. We ordered chicken garlic noodle and special seafood  noodle. Honestly, *Chicken garlic noodle are so so. Kind of salty and not much chicken. *Special seafood noodle, don't know BC I received wrong order, just little beef and soup base are sweet not much other favorite. *Service is bad. I mean very bad. I have tipped at the counter , but Should not tip at the beginning. Rating, Over all is 2.5 star for food, less 2 star for service and cleanness. Round off .5 star, that's 1 star.
I mean, I do like the place I just can't give it four or five stars. It's nothing exceptional and it doesn't stand out in regard to its pho, dining experience, style, or anything that would bump its rating. You could truly drive past Pho and Baguette without knowing its there. It's tucked away in a small area of Alameda near a Bonfare Market and O'Reily auto parts store. It's quaint and has a menu that's not over the top. The first time I dined there, I opted for standard shredded chicken pho. The second time, I went with their garlic noodles. I really enjoyed the garlic noodles -- just wish there were more lol. It's all table seating and rather open. I would say it's not great for large groups. You, plus three people at most. Overall, it's an alright spot if you're on that part of Alameda and looking for something to eat. Again, nothing special but also not ba
