They say they are open until 9 pm. It’s simply not true. I was running late and was happy to get to pi at 8:50pm on a Friday night to get my pizza and salad I was craving, but was promptly turned away at 8:50 pm because the oven was off. Claim fast fresh pizza but not at 8:50pm. This happened once before should have learned my lesson. Going to have to find another place for the nights I can’t get there by 8:30 I guess. Friday night shut down by 8:50pm it’s a shame. I loved their pizza. I like to get 2 salads and have one for the next day lunch. I went to ask about salads and before I could even get a word out,the person reiterated I know the oven looks on but we aren’t making anymore pizzas! I just left didn’t bother to even try to get a salad. It was obvious they didn’t want to make anymore food period! That was an immensely disappointing experience. Sad really,now what am I going to do for dinner. Pi pizza NOT open for business until 9pm on a Friday night. Beware! Food: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We recently tried Pi Wood-Fired Pizza for the first time, and while we really wanted to love it, the experience left us a bit confused. When we first arrived, we were honestly excited to check it out. Being able to see the food prepared right in front of you is such a cool concept, the menu looked really appealing, and the overall layout of the restaurant felt open and inviting. When we pulled in, the place looked empty, and walking in felt a little awkward since no one was up front at first. Someone eventually came out from the back, but the initial interaction felt a bit off. When we were ordering and asking about wing sauces, there wasn’t much clarity, but we decided to give it a try anyway and ordered wings and a pizza to share. After ordering, we grabbed a number and went to find a table. Surprisingly, it was hard to find a clean one, even though there weren’t any other customers at the time. Not long after we sat down, more guests started coming in, and suddenly several staff members appeared from the back, which made the earlier lack of presence a little puzzling. The most confusing part was the timing of the food. A group that came in after us—by at least several minutes—received their appetizers and multiple pizzas before we got anything. Our pizza came out later, and it seemed like our wings weren’t even started until after those other orders were already finished. We weren’t given any explanation, which made us feel a bit overlooked. To be fair, the pizza itself was good. You can tell there’s quality there, which is why the overall experience was a little disappointing. We go out to eat often and always try to be respectful, easygoing customers. We weren’t expecting anything over the top—just a welcoming, smooth experience. This visit just felt a bit strange and not very coordinated. That said, I’m still giving this 5 stars because I truly believe there’s a lot of potential here. With some improvements to service and flow, this could easily be a standout spot.
