Generally, the food is ok, though they are way over priced for what it is and it doesn't really make sense. If you buy a piccolo club sandwich, it's $14. This includes focaccia bread, pulled chicken, cheese, tomato, bacon, baby spinach, and sauce. Purchase, a piece of sour dough bread, smashed avo and 2 eggs, it's $16. They are a franchise and the ones I've been to have good customer service, though there are better cafe's.

Absolutely disgraceful. My 11-year-old daughter went alone to buy me coffee, and your staff gave her a ridiculous amount of 5-cent coins as change. Would you ever do that to an adult? She came back confused and embarrassed. At 1:30 PM you had no $1 coins? That's either poor management or pure laziness. This was not just unprofessional—it was downright disrespectful and demeaning. Shame on you, Piccolo Me North Rocks. Treat your customers—especially kids—with basic decency. I will also be sharing this experience with members of the large church community right next to your café—a place where many families, including mine, come regularly. People deserve to know how you treat children and what kind of service to expect. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Hi Wannaone, Thanks for your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear about your daughter’s experience — we completely understand how upsetting it must have been for her to receive so many small coins as change, and how that might have made her feel. Please know there was certainly no intention to cause confusion or embarrassment. At the time, we were unfortunately short on larger denominations, and we had to make do with what was available in the till. That said, we acknowledge this wasn’t ideal, and we should have handled it with more care and consideration — especially knowing the customer was a child. We truly value every customer who walks through our doors, young and old, and we regret that this experience left you and your daughter feeling disrespected. We’ll be taking this as a learning opportunity to ensure we’re better prepared and more thoughtful in similar situations in the future.
