My wife and I visited Pickled @ Riccall for lunch today. The staff were genuinely friendly, welcoming and accommodating throughout our visit, and the service was very good. They were a credit to the business. Unfortunately, the food was a real disappointment. I ordered the fish finger sandwich, which was served in an oversized bread bun. The three tiny fish fingers bore little resemblance to any fish fingers I've had before and were completely lost in the bun. It felt as though the sandwich had been bulked out with lettuce and tomato because there simply wasn't enough fish to fill it. The one saving grace was the chips, which were actually very nice and are the reason I'm giving two stars instead of one. It's a shame because the excellent staff deserved better, but sadly the food let the experience down. Based on this visit, I wouldn't return. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £30–40 Recommendation for vegetarians: Would not recommend

Just had a fabulous lunch here today. The moment you walk in you were made to feel very welcome by the lovely young ladies.
Cannot fault anything , the menu was all very tempting with a good selection of food to suit everyone. I chose a Favourite of mine ,garlic creamy mushrooms on toast which was lush xxx . My husband chose Ham ,eggs and chips which he thoroughly enjoyed, ham very tasty and the chips amazing.
Thanks ladies for a lovely lunchtime visit, will return
