As an American guy who’s tried a lot of bakeries, this place honestly blew me away. I stopped in on the way back from a trip and ended up grabbing a variety of pastries and bread, and every single item was incredible. The quality was way better than what I’m used to, especially for the price—everything tasted fresh, rich, and made with real care. The sourdough and pastries were standout for me, but honestly you can’t go wrong with anything here. On top of that, the staff were genuinely kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. It’s one of those hidden gems you don’t expect, and I’ll definitely be making a stop here again whenever I’m in the area. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My husband and I are from out of town and happened to stumble across this bakery. The owner was so sweet and the atmosphere was so friendly. We had the bacon, egg, cheese croissant, the lemon danish and blackberry turnover. Everything was buttery and flaky, so delicious. When I’m back in town, I will be returning! Amazing and delicious baked goods! Everything we’ve had has been simply amazing! Everything is freshly made, and simply delicious! We love the danish, we love the turnovers and cinnamon rolls. You can’t go wrong purchasing your snack from pie in the Pines bakery. Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
