Normally use Seven stars in wellington but there closed as on holiday. My family used to use ping hong so thought I’d give them a try. Don’t order from this Chinese. Placed order at 7.45 confirmation email that food would be here at 8.29 did not arrive until 9.15 I rang twice to see where it was. When it did arrive the food was stone cold. Curry sauce came out the container in one lump. Chicken in both dishes no flavour. Rang to complain about the cold food and only a sorry in reply and there excuse was there really low on staff, I told them they should be letting customers know this and that there food will arrive very late and cold due to staff shortages. They offered a 10% discount for another order which I denied as seeing the service and quality of food will not be ordering again. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Since the take over the expanded menu has included some much needed and tasty vegetarian options in the form of tofu primarily. In general great food, a nice example of british chinese cuisine. Price per person: £10–20

It had been our go to take away for many years as it is only down the road and the taste of food was really good. What has happened?! I placed an order today and the food was awful! My chow main was dry and tasteless. Pork with black beans was not as it used to be. The sauce was diluted, there were few pieces of chopped up beans floating about. Spring rolls are not the same and the prawn crackers went straight to the bin, inedible...the portions are way smaller than it used to be. I am guessing new owners... What a shame. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
