The rather plain facade isn't luring, neither does the rather bland black and white furnishings, but the blandness gives this place a certain charm. It doesn't try to be anything that it isn't, instead it focuses on what it is good at - serving up fine food.
Having previously purchased a Tuna Mayo and Salsa panini and being satisfied, I decided to order a Mexican Chicken wrap and I was surprised at how much it was packed out. The wrap was heavily crammed with the chosen filling, and it also had salad running right the way through.
You pay more for a panini or a wrap than you would at Baguette Express, but the quality shines through. The meat is evidently better and doesn't feel as cheap as the others from the mainstream rivals does.
The owners and the staff put a lot of effort into Pinocchio and delivering a prime product, which in turn adds to their blossoming reputation in the West End.
