I only knew this once fantastic TRUCK STOP as Swan Service Station. It was virtually empty at 18:30 this evening, which was good for me. Back in 2006 when I drove with LUCEY Transport from Millstreet, Cork, this place was bustling with Truckers who worked hard and needed a bit to eat in the cafe (now closed), shower, diesel and most importantly, a good auld natter with other like minded Old Skool Truckers. Now, everyone on their phones, watching tv in their cabs, eating processed food from Lidl or Tesco. #sadtimes #oldskoolgone #moderntrucking #mentalhealth. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

2025!! No Cafe, No hot food except what's in the garage, showers are dirty, toilet access is a pain needing a key every time from the garage, camers don't even think they work, no security, only good thing is its a quiet place to get your head down 5 mins from Jct 5 M5, on SNAP.

This truck stop has gone down not stayed here for a while but come on what's happened if you weren't here by 1700 hrs you could not get on. Only 10 trucks parked up last night food not too bad small portions..showers bit shabby but they were hot..come on use it or loose it..still quiet night
