Due to relocating to another state and having recently returned to Pittsburgh, it had been 2 decades since our last visit to the iconic LeMont restaurant. I almost forgot how elegant, lovely and delicious this restaurant is! Although the sweeping wall to wall view of the city at night was forever captivating and unforgettable!We attended a fundraiser/dinner event with no expectations. Well, we were all pleasantly surprised! From the convenient parking lot across the street to the festive & beautifully decorated entrance, dining room and bar area it was a great start to a memorable evening.My only complaint is waiting 10 minutes for the cloak room attendant, who went awol for the evening.The bar area and service was impeccable. The house wine was a tasty and satisfying pour. The servers delivered our hot meals speedily with a smile. The generous serving of salmon and filet (surf & turf) with bearnaise sauce was perfectly prepared & as yummy as I remembered! Top it off with a decadent piece of chocolate cake and hot coffee to round out a perfect evening!!We'll be back for a special occasion dinner party!!
