I asked last week if they could make a special birthday pie for my kiddo who loves their pizza and wasn’t going to have a birthday party due to the stay at home orders. WELL... they went so far above and beyond! They made a birthday post for her on their Facebook page (dubbing her the ‘Pizza Princess’) and when they delivered her requested meal, they brought a hand painted sign for her wall and a bag of presents full of all her favorite things! ? She was so shocked and surprised! They even thought to include a card. It made for a very royal birthday!
Special thanks to Robin, Kevin, and all the staff at PKE! This is the kind of thing that makes our area so special. Stay healthy and shop small! ❤️
April 2020- Here’s the deal- I grew up in Bloomington and around Avon. Pizza King was a big part of our lives and family gatherings. When I moved here to Franklin years ago, we tried the old station and it was... meh. We never went back and they eventually closed.
But tonight the old craving hit us and we decided to make Pizza King our small business support of the week. We ordered 2 calzones and 3 orders of sticks for delivery (which is something I NEVER do). Our stuff arrived on time and still very hot! The delivery driver was an older gentleman, whose name I did not catch. We made sure to tip well for the excellent, prompt service. There was an issue with one of my calzones (wrong toppings- nothing major), but they swiftly and happily remade and redelivered it without any fuss and it was a delicious redemption!
