I never experienced such aweful food at any other pizza ranch. Cost 16.99 for chicken that was dry, pizza looked like it sat there along with chicken strips.Gravy was runny, and thought I would just eat soup. That was even worse chili was watered down and the other looked like diarrhea. Was no dessert pizza or chocolate chip cookies on the dessert area for almost the whole time we were there. Then they bring out a little pan of cookies Tables were not cleared off hard to find a place to sit. Will never go back there again. Should of went across the street.Ames,Ankeny and Fort Dodge are awesome. Sorry I had to post this but at this price you want good fresh food. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Atmosphere: 3

Pizza Ranch. Boone, Iowa. Traveling through the area, I stayed at the hotel next door. Family friendly chain, almost as if CiCi's pizza and Mr. Gatti's gave birth to an evangelical child that won't stop wearing a cowboy hat. The buffet is mediocre at best, however the pizza crust is surprisingly decent. The salad bar has some variety, and staff is friendly. I feel like the pizza parlor arcade business model is kinda outdated in circa 2026, and this place almost has a nostalgic feel. Sticky tables, screaming kids, etc. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
