I have been a regular customer of pizza star for over 30 years. After the recent new management, I read some really bad reviews so I decided to give them a miss and try and find a new pizza place, which is easier said than done! I couldn’t find anybody in the area that had the same yummy thin crust as pizza star and the same amount of toppings! After reading a couple of decent reviews over the last few weeks i decided to give them another try and I will definitely be going back! We ordered two half-and-half family pizzas and a home made cheesy garlic bread. The pizzas were the same as we’ve always had, My only criticism would be that they needed a little bit more base, but the toppings were the same! We used to ask for extra base with the old owners as well so that that’s nothing new! The cheesy garlic bread, however, now has herbs added to it, which has ruined it in my opinion, hence only 4 stars! Hopefully on the next order, they can leave the herbs off! We also thought originally that there was no cheese on the garlic bread but discovered the cheese later on in the middle section, so the cheese needs to spread to the ends of the roll. In my honest opinion, they are still great pizzas at a great price and we will definitely be back! Food: 4 Service: 5 Price per person: $1–20

Pizza that’s actually good! It’s actually cheaper than dominos, if you take into account the amount of toppings! Especially with the supreme or equivalent. Pay the extra $2 for extra toppings because it’s worth it. Shop is a bit outdated but it’s not an eat in restaurant so deal with it I suppose. It’s not quite the same as a wood fired from an Italian pizza bar, but they definitely get the base and crust right. Also, their garlic pizza is nice and reasonably priced. A couple of party sized pizzas and a family garlic pizza was about what you’d expect from a nearby pizza shop, but it’s much nicer. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Order type: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–60
