THE absolute WORST sushi I have EVER had. The restaraunt smelled dirty, like old oil or something. Two other partys in dining room, tables left dirty, including dirty uncleaned hibachi area (go through to get to restroom) All three rolls I ordered were DISGUSTING. LETTUCE in a roll?? BLAND rolls, literally tasteless. The roll with fried shrimp tasted like old oil?? We disassembled every roll and inspected, slivers of shrimp too much veg. We left and got puzza and wings. HOW IS THIS PLACE STILL IN BUSINESS????? Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

This place has seen better days. I lived out of state for 10 years and came back here for the first time since 2015 while staying at Highland hospital where my wife just delivered our 2nd kid. First time she could have sushi in 9 months and I recommend Plum House having good memories of it years ago. But it looked like they hadn’t cleaned since I had been there a decade ago. The fish tank built into the hostess stand is the first thing you see, used to be a cool design element, but was filthy and made me skeptical of eating there at all. Website images of some of the food bears no resemblance to the actual food, spring rolls for example look like classic fried wanton style spring rolls on the website, but in actuality they were like soft soy paper wrapped and filled with mostly lettuce. Salmon and tuna rolls were fresh but very very small pieces/mostly rice. Pretty disappointing. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2

If you dont have food allergies take heavily into consideration that is a large part of my 2 star rating. Pork Dumplings were GREAT! We had Chicken Habachi and Chicken Stir Fry. Neither were bad but im not sure we would go again based on those dishes. Service was good but it was busy and we werent check in on often. Now here is the issue. A lot of Habachi comes with Shrimp and I have a big allergy. I did tell the waitress this and she assured it didnt and no shrimp would be on any dishes. A few minutes after leaving the restaurant I started having the most extreme stomach pains and tightness. I know there had to be some degree of cross contamination. My lips and mouth got a little itchy but no swelling. Took benadryl right away and made sure someone monitored me for the next few hours. I will never go back again because these are things I cant risk. I would suggest if you have any allergies that may be on the menu avoiding eating here. Otherwise the vibe was nice, prices are decent, and the dumplings are great. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
